 Please join Herron School of Art and Design and The IU School of Medicine Department of Neurology for a conversation    exploring aesthetics through neuroscience and psychology to examine how we evolved to desire beauty and enjoy art. with  Anjan Chatterjee, MD, PC Professor of Neurology School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania and  Juliet King, MA, ATR-BC,  LPC Director of Art Therapy Herron School of Art and Design, IUPUI

Dr. Chatterjee is a member of the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience. His research focuses on spatial cognition and its relationship to language. He also conducts neuroaesthetics research and writes about the ethical use of neuroscience findings in society. Juliet King is an assistant professor at Herron School of Art and Design and an adjunct assistant professor at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her research applies neuroscience to art therapy practice and intervention.
