#300in3

Presented by Indiana Historical Society at Indiana History Center

Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center
Noon to 4 p.m.

“So many people think history happens to other people, in other places, a long time ago,” says Kyle McKoy, IHS vice president of education and exhibitions.” #300in3 shows them that every person contributes to the story of Indiana’s history every day.

Is your portrait missing from our #300in3 collection? This year is your last chance! For one final time, photographer Tom Styrkowicz will take 300 portraits in three days – or maybe more. On March 11 through 13, Tom is setting up his studio at the History Center from noon to 4 p.m., and we want as many Hoosiers as possible to be part of this exciting portrait performance art event.

Let us capture you as you are and create an on-the-spot exhibition. After you get your portrait taken, you’ll receive one print to take home, and one will go straight into the exhibit. A digital copy of your portrait will go into the IHS collections so you’ll be part of history. We’ll also upload it to our Facebook page so you can share with your friends.

Come as you are, come with props and ideas, or just come with an open mind, but be prepared to have fun.

Free admission includes the Indiana Experience.
