First Friday: Can We Talk? Memories, Miracles, and the Power of Things Unsaid

Special reception. Meet some of the artists participating in the Stutz Artists Association’s “Can We Talk? Memories, Miracles, and the Power of Things Unsaid” exhibit, view the creative and powerful artwork and learn more about the Before I Die Festival. Poets from the Indiana Writers Center will read poetry and facilitate discussions, from 6-8p.m. The Stutz welcomes Andrea Boucher, Kyle Craig, Allyson Horton, and Claire McGuinness – poets from the Indiana Writers Center who will read poetry and facilitate discussions, from 6-8p.m. 

Reception and event is free. Beverages will be provided by Fountain Square Brewery and 12.05 Distillery.

This is one of several events the Stutz Artists Association is hosting during the Before I Die Festival – a part of a growing social movement to reflect on how we manage death and dying, by providing space and opportunities to talk and discuss end-of-life issues as individuals and as a society. The Stutz Artists Association is joining the conversation through artists’ interpretration of death and dying. The Before I Die Festival is presented by the IU School of Nursing and powered by Spirit & Place.
