Stutz Artists Association Death Café

Stutz Artists Association Death Café

Presented by Stutz Artists Association at Unknown

The Before I Die Festival is a part of a growing social movement to reflect on how we manage death and dying, by providing space and opportunities to talk and discuss end-of-life issues as individuals and as a society. The Stutz Artists Association is joining the conversation through artists’ interpretation of death and dying by hosting an art exhibit, poetry, a death café and more. All events are free and will be held at the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery in the Stutz Business and Arts Center.

On Friday, April 15, The Stutz Artists Association is hosting a Death Cafe. Death Cafes are group directed discussions of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. The Stutz Artists Association is joining the International Movement and the Before I Die Festival by hosting its own Death Cafe. The Death Cafes are discussion groups rather than a grief support or counseling session. Eat. Drink. Chat about death. No views are pushed, all points of view encouraged. RSVP to lwocial@IUHealth.org.

This is one of several events the Stutz Artists Association is hosting during the Before I Die Festival – a part of a growing social movement to reflect on how we manage death and dying, by providing space and opportunities to talk and discuss end-of-life issues as individuals and as a society. The Stutz Artists Association is joining the conversation through artists’ interpretation of death and dying. The Before I Die Festival is presented by the IU School of Nursing and powered by Spirit & Place.
