Seventy-five years ago, founder Hermann Rinne launched the all volunteer Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis with a downbeat at our first concert in April 1941.

On April 24, 2016, Orcenith Smith picks up the baton to lead the still vibrant Philharmonic Orchestra in an exciting celebration of these 75 years.
