Come meet and visit with Lois and join her for a spirited conversation with friends. Lois Main Templeton, one of Indianapolis’s most beloved and honored artists, is returning to the JCC!

Thirty-two years after her first exhibition at the JCC, Templeton is coming “home again” with her latest vibrant and exciting work. Relocated to Maine several years ago, she will bring her beautiful and highly dynamic, expressionistic and personal style back to Indianapolis.

A painting, she says, becomes rich only when it has lived a life. “I like to leave evidence of this process on its face, if you will.” Now, in her 80s, “I care about the land and about solitude, silence, space.”
