The Creative Church Arts Conference

The Creative Church Arts Conference

at Indy Vineyard Church

If God is the ultimate creator, why aren’t local churches champions for the arts and creativity? 500 years ago churches were the main patrons of the arts. Now many congregations are again exploring the role of the arts in faith.

At the Creative Church Conference, June 3-5, creative leaders and renowned artists will share visionary ideas and practical applications for the arts and creativity to flourish in and through your congregation.

Speakers include:

Mako Fujimura, internationally known artist and author, and former presidential appointee to the NEA
Joanna Taft, Executive Director of Harrison Center for the Arts
Kyle Ragsdale, artist and curator
Jason Leith, director of arts at Saddleback Church
Cameron Anderson, Executive Director of CIVA (Christians in the Visual Arts)
Jessie Nilo, director of arts at VineArts Boise, and founder of Art Fruition
J. Scott McElroy , author of Creative Church Handbook (IVP) and Finding Divine Inspiration, director of the New Renaissance Arts Movement, and more.

In addition to the powerful main sessions, attendees can take part in lively and informative panel discussions, choose from over a dozen practical workshops, or just take a break and enjoy some hands-on creative time in the Creative Room. We’ll take a field trip to The Harrison Center for the Arts for First Friday, and have our Friday evening session there.

The complete conference is $125. Single day and evening rates are offered. Got to: TheNewR.com for more information and ticket prices.
