June First Friday

at Nickel Plate Arts

Kavita Singh / ksingh@nickelplateart.org

June’s First Friday is the opening reception for the exhibit In the Name of Progress. It also marks the beginning of our month-long Nickel Plate Arts Festival, which is cause for celebration! Come out and participate in a large-scale collaborative painting project called “Trails” guided by local artist Doug Arnholter. “Trails” is a community-created canvas celebrating the layers and vibrancy of the people and community  along the 30-mile historic Nickel Plate Railroad in Fishers, Noblesville, Cicero, Arcadia, Atlanta and Tipton. Jam out to live music from popular local band, Noble Roots. Special wine and canvas activities for 21+ guests will be hosted by Lesley Haflich and Bryan Glover of Mr. G’s Liquors.

Beer and wine offer a chance to unwind on a summer night. Registration is not required. Just come on out and enjoy!
