Join us for a celebration of the 100th running of the 500 with an exhibit that showcases the past, present, and future of the sport of racing through art. The work of eight budding photographers from IPS #114 will be displayed, along with 16 Indy artists producing contemporary work featuring the sport of racing. The Stutz Artists Association received a grant from the 500 Gives Back program to sponsor photo workshops for 10 students from IPS #114. Selected IPS students traveled to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in limousines, with cameras, equipment and instructors who taught them how to photograph speeding race cars! Photos produced by the IPS students will be on display at the closing reception & young artists celebration on Friday, May 27, 5-9 pm, in the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery. This event is also an official 100th Running Porch Party! We will have snacks and beverages, games and live music.
