Music & Martinis for Mutts

Music & Martinis for Mutts

Presented by Stutz Artists Association at Unknown

Martinis, music and puppy tails will be the featured art in the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery in June. Stutz artists Jane Knight, JanettMarie and Brian Phillips are collaborating on an event and exhibit designed to use art, cocktails, music, and fun to bring light to the plight of abandoned dogs. The art exhibit, “Music & Martinis for Mutts,” will open Friday, June 3, with a special reception, art auction and entertainment, from 5-9 pm in the Raymond James Stutz Art Gallery, as part of the IDADA First Friday Art Tour. The event will celebrate the rescues, volunteers and no-kill shelters that work tirelessly to save mutts in need. In addition to great art and entertainment, the night will feature organizations such as F.I.D.O., FACE Low Cost Spay/Neuter, Casa del Toro Pitbull Rescue and others that help educate and showcase their efforts to save the precious lives of mutts. Wilks & Wilson Inc. will provide martinis for a $5 donation to the participating charities. 12.05 Distillery and Fountain Square Brewery are the beverage partners for First Friday. Music will be provided by Whoa! Tiger. Proceeds from art sales and art auction will be donated to the various charities. Puppies will also be on hand to help raise awareness of their needs.
