Okay, you’re ready to start writing a full-length play….now what? You have written at least one short play, maybe a few. You understand the basic elements of narrative construction and know how to use them….mostly. You may have even written a full-length play already and want to start another one. You are pretty sure you have an idea already you want to develop, or you may already have some pages. And you think you could use some support to stay on track during the writing process and get some feedback as you go. This workshop is for you! Over the eight-session workshop, you will be expected to bring in new pages every week. Your work will be read (in some cases, by professional actors who join the class for fun and participate in the feedback), and you will be part of a supportive community of writers who will help you develop your work, and make suggestions for ways to improve it. Come one, come all. (Prerequisite: students must have taken the Foundations of Playwriting class or receive the instructor’s permission).(andrewblacksf@gmail.com)
