The Indianapolis Symphonic Choir performs Mendelssohn’s Elijah – one of the most beloved choral-orchestral masterworks of all time – in a salute to the chorus’s 80th Anniversary Season.
Often proclained “one of the greatest choral works ever,” Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah anchors the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir’s 80th Anniversary Season. Last performed by the Choir to mark its 70th milestone, Elijah, has become a signature choral masterwork for the Symphonic Choir.
Eric Stark conducts the Symphonic Choir, Indianapolis Children’s Choir, and the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra in a celebration of the city’s rich choral tradition. This one-night-only performance at The Palladium in Carmel is a “must see” event for any classical music fan in the state.
