Victoria Griswold, Violin

The Giant’s Violin, an original story written by ISO violinist Victoria Griswold and narrated by Perry Accetturo, ISO Learning Community, introduces preschoolers to the string instruments of the orchestra through story, movement and live music. The captivating tale features excerpts from Camille Saint-Saëns’ classic Carnival of the Animals and is performed by five ISO string players.

The Teddy Bear Series is one of several ISO Learning Community programs that works with educators, leaders and other organizations to improve the community using the unique resources and perspective of a professional orchestra.
Leonard “LEO” Bearnstein, the Teddy Bear Series mascot, is on Instagram.
The program is free at both libraries and open to the public.
