COMING BACK HOME: 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE STUTZ RESIDENCY PROGRAM

Presented by Stutz Artists Association at Unknown

Artists awarded the Stutz Residency from 1996 to 2015 are “coming home” for a special exhibition in August. Each artist has carefully selected pieces of their artwork for the show to represent some of their work since they spent a formative year as a Stutz Resident. This exhibit will feature 18 of the city’s most accomplished and most respected artists and will include a wide range of their works, including photography, oils, watercolors, sculpture and mobiles. Coming Back Home: 20th Anniversary of the Stutz Residency Program brings together the art and artists who were inspired as participants in the city’s longest running residency program for working artists. Join many of these artists at the opening reception on Aug. 5 as a part of the IDADA First Friday Art Tour. Also enjoy Open Studios, live music, drinks from 12.05 Distillery, and more.

Participating artists and former Stutz residents include: Emily Budd, Lydia Burris, Larry Endicott, Patrick Flaherty, Susan Watt Grade, David Hicks, Greg Hull, Emily Kennerk, David Kleeman, Lauren Kussro, Cheryl Lorance, Mark Pack, Kyle Ragsdale, William Denton Ray, Stephanie Lewis Robertson, Ginny Taylor Rosner, Kevin Smola, and Heather Stamenov.
