Presented by Center for the Performing Arts at The Tarkington at the Center for the Performing Arts

It is impossible to stand still when the room is filled with the music of Latin dance. The dances, often described as sultry, romantic, and energetic create air of excitement as dancers move across the floor to the infectious rhythms of Latin America.

During this dance Discovery Session, we’ll learn about the cultures from where the dances originate and get our hips swaying while learning basic steps of some Latin dance favorites.

No partner or previous dancing experience necessary to register.

Suggested for ages 12 through adult.

Appropriate Attire: Clothing that is comfortable to move in and dance or tennis shoes.
