Every one of us has a story about who we are. Some are wildly inspiring; some are the very things that hold us back. This workshop offers you a chance to better discover who you are through exploring and listening deeply to your own story.
Every one of us has a story about who we are. Some are wildly inspiring; other times, they are the very things that hold us back. This workshop offers you an opportunity to better discover who you are through exploring and listening deeply to your own story.
Participants will focus on the questions “Where am I from?” and “How does where I’m from inform who I am?” while writing your own stories and exploring your family tree. You’ll also study storytelling techniques and learn from Minton’s own work and experience. She will guide you through using your stories to create poems, pictures and performances. No writing or performance experience necessary.
$40/Workshop, $50/Workshop and performance
