1998 IVCI Laureate Svetlin Roussev in Recital with Pianist Chih-Yi Chen

Svetlin Roussev, a popular Laureate from the 1998 Competition, will present a recital with outstanding collaborative pianist Chih-Yi Chen to end the 2016-17 IVCI Laureate Series.  The duo will perform Schubert’s Sonatina for Violin and Piano in D major, D. 384, Op. Posth. 137;
Fauré’s Sonata for Violin and Piano No. 1 in A major, Op. 13; Ysaÿe’s Sonata No. 2 for Violin Solo in A minor “Obsession”, Op. 27; Tchaikovsky’s Mélodie in E-flat major, from Souvenir d’un lieu cher,Op. 42 No. 3, Valse Sentimentale, Op. 51, No. 6, and Valse-Scherzo, Op. 34; and Vladigerov’s Song, Op. 21  and Rhapsody “Vardar”, Op. 12.  The National Bank of Indianapolis is the Title Sponsor for the Laureate Series.

Admission Info

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for senior citizens (60 and above) and $10 for students.  All seating is General Admission.
