Kewanna, Indiana artist, Lindsey Kozubik, shows a series of new oil paintings that are a meld of contemporary folk art with a surrealistic twist. The exhibition is presented by Satch Lost and Found Art Studio/Gallery and is hosted by the Circle City Industrial Complex for IDADA First Friday Art Tour, October 7, 2016.
About Lindsey Kozubik
Kozubik’s goal is to live an imaginative life through art, education and by having an open mind and being receptive to new ideas. Creating art is how Kozubik learns and serves others. Her oil paintings form an eclectic journal that is thought provoking, mysterious and amusing. Her current work is painted from her imagination with references to collages that she constructs.
When Kozubik is not making art or teaching, she likes to garden, read, daydream, listen to music, attend concerts and enjoy time with family and friends.
Kozubik earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Studio Art from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana in 2004 and a teaching license from Manchester College, North Manchester, Indiana in 2007. Since 2007, Kozubik has been teaching art in Logansport, Indiana.
