Freetown Village is seeking volunteers in three areas:

• General Office
  Assist staff in daily clerical and administrative functions. Individuals must have competency with general office equipment including computer, telephone, copier, and fax. Responsibilities may include filing, cataloging, data collecting, etc. Availability may be weekly, monthly or special occasions.
• Special Events
  Help assist staff and board members with special event programs and activities. Opportunities vary with each program and may range from actual planning to only being available on the day of the event.
• Board of Directors
  Support and help build on the mission and activities of Freetown Village. Board responsibilities include supporting Freetown Village with your time, treasures, and talent and actively participating in bi-monthly board meetings and serving on at least one standing committee.

Freetown Village’s Mission
Freetown Village is a living history museum with the mission to educate the public about African American lives, arts, and culture in Indiana through exhibits, special programs and events.  Programs include interactive theater, music, storytelling, hands-on crafts or heritage workshops or other performance based programs.  Programs tour statewide and are appropriate for various ages.  Visit us at www.freetownvillage.org.
