IDADA First Friday Art Show – Nature of Art: Painted Parks

Presented by Indiana Landmarks at Rapp Family Gallery, Indiana Landmarks Center

The Edinburgh (IN) native spent two years visiting all 24 of Indiana’s state parks—a personal Bicentennial project—capturing their unique character in all four seasons “Nature of Art” paintings highlight inspiring vistas and surprising elements like a herd of bison at Ouabache State Park near Bluffton and the canyons of Turkey Run State Park in Parke County.

During First Fridays in Indiana Landmarks Center’s Rapp Family Gallery, 6 to 9 p.m., visitors can take advantage of free tours of the restored and repurposed nineteenth-century Methodist church in the Old Northside Historic District. “Nature of Art” is free and open to the public; no RSVP required.
