Artist Jessie Featherstone has spent a lifetime in the process of discovery through her art. This culminates in the March exhibit in the Stutz Art Gallery, Fearless Exploring: The Art of Jessie Featherstone. Each new challenge has elevated and evolved her artistic sensibilities, developing a brave new style. Her signature clay style involves texturing her gorgeously colored pieces with lace or natural materials including leaves and flowers. These are hand built creations, often with beautifully painted images, turning the clay into canvas.

This exhibit opens on March 3 as part of the IDADA First Friday Art Tour with a reception from 5-9 pm. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the studios of 19 Stutz artists as they open their studios and showcase their latest artwork.

The gallery exhibit continues  on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 am – 2 pm from March 8-31.
