FoodCon 7 & April artist reception

at Harrison Center for the Arts

April 7 marks the return of our unconventional convention, FoodCon, now in its seventh year. Brought to you by Basic Needs, Simple Solutions, the event will take place from 6 to 9pm in the Harrison Center gym and courtyard where a variety of local food enthusiasts will convene to share information on subjects ranging from raising chickens to making kombucha. Local food trucks will provide a variety of tasty food options throughout the evening.

Also that night, the Harrison Gallery features Petal Pushers, a floral group show featuring work by Addie Hirschten, Douglas David, Amelia Rose and Diana Miller.

The Gallery Annex presents Blossoming by the brother and sister team of painters Jed Dorsey and April Nelson.

Alicia Zanoni and Brenden Day fill the City Gallery with plants and vegetables of Indy in their show, Verdure.

In the Speck Gallery, Benaiah Cusack’s Evening Wanderings. “Fireflies and orbs of light float through this new collection of atmospheric landscapes.”

Herron School of Art + Design seniors Kaitlyn DeSpain and Maggie Richter present Seed and Swan in Hank & Dolly’s Gallery.
