KDO SUMMER SESSION 2017

*No previous dance experience is necessary.
Transportation: Parents are responsible for transportation.
Space is limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Come join KDO’s Summer Dance Program! It’s a dance class and so much more! Students will learn a variety of dance styles and, at the same time, experience tools to foster their confidence and cooperation.

During each daily session, participants will receive 2 KDO classes as well as an Enrichment Workshop with a partner organization including Young Actors Theatre. The KDO program is a joyfully rigorous class that uses various styles and unique movement vocabulary, allowing students of every level to succeed as dancers and performers. Taught by KDO Teaching Artists and accompanied by live music, students will learn original choreography and perform for parents and peers. Beyond the rudiments of dance, the class also focuses on using the experience to foster confidence and cooperation. The Summer Program will end with a Showcase Performance open to family, friends and community members free of charge.
