The Cultural Diversity Drum Festival, SITEAW, Inc.’s spring fundraiser, is on April 29th at 2pm. There will be a drum competition, art, a book signing, food and friends to meet. All proceeds go toward SITEAW’s african girls’ school tuition.
The very first Cultural Diversity Drum Festival, will be a great day of appreciation of who we are as a human race, sharing rhythm, joy and fun. Your presence will make this event really, really vibrant. Drummers, please contact siteawinc2004@yahoo.com to register and have a chance to show your skill. First Prize: the most skilled drummer of 2017 will receive a free cording session of his/her skill, Second Prize: an undisclosed monetary award. Third Prize: a hand drum, plus other prizes for impressive drummers. All proceeds from this event will go toward sponsoring SITEAW girls in school.
SITEAW, Inc. (Shifting Ideas Through Education for African Women) is dedicated to empowering girls and women in order to let them break the chains of oppressive traditions and have a second chance in life. SITEAW’s tools are: Education, Skills and Community Programs.
