All camps begin with a puppet show presented by Peewinkle’s. Friday at 3pm is the show for parents and friends by the campers!
Levels 1, 2 & 3 will make a variety of puppets (marionette, hand, mouth, rod and shadow) with complexity based upon age level. Level 3 will include an educational component as well.
The Apprentice Level is for Peewinkle PIPS (puppeteers in progress) and is by invitation only. Campers in this session will make a muppet style puppet.
All camps include painting, sewing, gluing, drilling, sawing and is based on age level. These camps are great for the creative child.
All camps will be held in Peewinkle’s Puppet Studio at the Indiana State Museum. Drop off of campers on Washington Street entrance and a PPS staff member will meet them there…
or leave your flashers on for a few minutes if you walk your child in…then you don’t have to park!
*********Campers bring a sack lunch plus morning and afternoon snacks.
Level 1 – July 10 – 14 – Ages 5 and 6
Level 2 – June 19 – 23 – Ages 7, 8 and 9
Level 3 – June 19 – 23 – Ages 10 and up
Apprentice Level – June 26 – 30 (invitation only)
Full day camp is from 9am – 4pm
Half day camps* are from 9am – Noon or 1 – 4pm
* Half day camps are identical and not meant to be full day
and performances are 1/2 hour prior to end of last day
Tuition includes all supplies and T-Shirt.
Tuition for full day camp is $200.
Tuition for half day camp is $125.
