The Indiana Historical Society’s popular Concerts on the Canal series is back!
Dive into summer with Concerts on the Canal! Our summer tradition begins Thursday, May 27, with a performance from Hopkins and Miller featuring sunset stomp jazz from the 1920s and 1930s. Join us on the Kruse Family Stardust Terrace at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center or on the grassy area across the canal!

June 29: Cocktail Sax – Jazz Standards and Pop Hits
*July 4: Indianapolis Municipal Band – Patriotic tunes and marches
*Please note: The performance time for the July 4 concert is 6 to 8 p.m. The Kruse Family Stardust Terrace will close shortly after the end of the concert. Fireworks are not visible from this location.
July 6: Deb Mullins – Cabaret with a mix of standards, bluesy jazz and pop
July 13: My Yellow Rickshaw – Top 40, Rock and Country
July 20: Tuned In! featuring David Mannell with Laura Hammer-Erhart, Becky Barton and Heather Hinton – Musical Theatre
July 27: Living Proof – Pop, R&B and Dance
Reservations
Free seating is available on the grassy area on the Canal Walk. Tables for 8 are $50, $40 for members. Tables for 4 are $40, $30 for members. Single seats at a community table are $10, $8 for members. Half- and full-season packages are available. Event reservations are valid for the date and/or event of issue; no rain checks will be permitted.
Food and Beverage Service
The Stardust Terrace Café, outdoor grill and cash bar open at 5 p.m. Guests may bring their own food and nonalcoholic beverages to the concerts. All alcohol must be purchased and consumed on site.
Special Note
In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be delayed or moved indoors. No food or drink will be allowed at indoor concerts and only registered guests may be accommodated.
No pets and no smoking are allowed on the terrace.
