Contemporary Paintings of the original Indiana Canal Path by Genna Pianki
Genna Pianki, a contemporary landscape painter in Indianapolis, received a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to underwrite her work portraying Indiana’s original canal path as it exists today in the modern environment.
This new body of work, “Lost Connections,” portrays the original canal path buit in the mid-ninteenth century through Indiana.
