The class will explore writing about historical figures as well as contemporary subjects, with tips about structure, quotes, resources, interview techniques, good interview sources, and the handling of descriptions, details and pivotal events.

The instructor will be author Nelson Price, who specializes in biographies of famous Hoosiers such as teenage AIDS activist Ryan White as well as profiles of a wide range of newsmakers.
