On December 11, 1816, Indiana became the 19th state to join the Union. On December 8, 2017, the Statehouse will host Indiana Statehood Day to celebrate Indiana’s 201st birthday. The Birthday Party will include interactive activities throughout the statehouse. There will be presentations by many state agencies and offices targeting 4th graders. You may schedule your group for the simultaneous programs at the Indiana State Museum, Indiana Historical Society or the Indiana State Library.
