HESPERUS presents a live sound track from renaissance France in the 1921 film classic The Three Musketeers with Douglas Fairbanks.
The seven concert Early Music Festival begins on June 23 with all concerts featuring Baroque, Medieval, and Renaissance music played on early instruments. HESPERUS will accompany the film using the brilliant sound tracks for silent film created by Tina Chancey. Be prepared for an evening of enjoying The Three Musketeers with courtly and popular music from the French Renaissance.
Festival seating is used for all events. Tickets are available through the IEM office at 317 577-9731 or online at the Brown Paper Ticket website. Remaining tickets are sold at the door just prior to each event. A subscription (one ticket for each event) is $110. Voucher packets of six, eight, or ten vouchers, giving flexibility of attendance are $120, $160, $200. Single tickets are $22 and a limited number of student tickets are free.
