The Musical World of Don Quixote will be the final concert of the 51st Indianapolis Early Music Festival.
PIFFARO delights audiences with highly polished re-creations of the rustic music of the peasantry and the elegant sounds of the official wind bands of the late-medieval and renaissance periods. Its ever-expanding instrumentarium includes shawms, dulcians, sackbuts, recorders, krumhorns, bagpipes, lutes, guitars, harps, and a variety of percussion — all careful reconstructions of instruments from the period. The group performs throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, and South America and recently was honored by the American Recorder Society with its Distinguished Achievement Award.
Individual adult tickets: $22 A limited number of Student Tickets are available for each concert, otherwise $12.
