Indiana Landmarks and Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission present a walking tour highlighting the architecture, history, and design of downtown Indianapolis. Even if you’ve lived in Indianapolis all your life, and especially if you haven’t, you’ll learn a lot on our walking tour of Monument Circle and the historic Wholesale District, the heart of Indianapolis.  A pair of guides share engaging stories and draw your attention to intriguing details you may not otherwise notice. Capital City Tour & Tales starts on the plaza between Union Station and the Omni Severin Hotel at 40 West Jackson Place. The tour is handicapped accessible and will occur rain or shine. This free event honors of the 50th anniversary of the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission. Advance ticket required.
