Ghost Stories at Crown Hill Cemetery

Ghost Stories at Crown Hill Cemetery

Presented by Storytelling Arts of Indiana at Crown Hill Cemetery

Get into the spooky spirit of the season by spending an evening at Indianapolis’ famed Crown Hill Cemetery – if you dare. As darkness falls on its historic headstones, you’ll be immersed in spine-tingling tales of the dead and undead. You won’t be the only one looking over your shoulder when the stories end. Storytellers include Deborah Asante, Celestine Bloomfield, Patty Callison, Stephanie Holman, David Matlack, Sally Perkins and Bob Sander.

Arrive early to find your piece of hallowed ground. We recommend bringing a blanket or lawn chairs, and feel free to pack a cooler if your stomach can take it. Several food trucks also will be on site. The event will be held rain or shine under a large tent, but the sun will be long gone by the time it’s over. And if you want to make sure you can find your way out, don’t forget a flashlight. Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Please use the entrance at 34th Street and Boulevard Place, since the north gate will be closed. Parking is free.
