Wonderland Film Festival

at Commonwealth Gym

Englewood Neighborhood Film Festival returns on its second year as Wonderland Film Festival!

Join us in celebrating films created by filmmakers of all skill levels, made by Near Eastside neighbors and beyond!

ABOUT WONDERLAND FILM FESTIVAL
Wonderland Film Festival’s main goal is to get Indianapolis Near Eastside neighbors to make movies.

The idea for Wonderland Film Festival came from The Simpsons episode “A Star is Burns” in which the town of Springfield hosts a film festival showcasing short films made by all of the townspeople. In the process, a more profound and nuanced picture of each character is revealed.

Wonderland Film Festival is not just the festival itself, but the process of encouraging and teaching neighbors to tell stories, learning to make movies, building community and celebrating the results. This annual film festival is creating a unique and lasting tradition on one very special night of the year where anyone who wants to try amateur filmmaking can be celebrated for who they are in their neighborhood.
