The Noble Roots Band is a trio based in the Indianapolis area comprised of Kelli Ray Yates, John Gilmore and Gary Wasson. Kelli sings lead, harmony vocals and plays rhythm guitar. John sings lead, harmony vocals, plays guitar and mandolin. Gary sings lead, harmony vocals and plays bass. The songs on this Reverbnation Page are all written by John and feature a variety of the best acoustic musicians around central Indiana and beyond. The guest players on these tracks include David Harvey, Rod Schindler, Don Anderson, Bruce Anderson, Carolyn Dutton, Kevin Donnelly and Aaron Ransdell. We certainly hope all visitors to this page will enjoy the music here and perhaps we will see you down the road at a show some day. In addition to the original music featured here, at our shows, we play a fun mix of covers drawing on old country, Bluegrass, blues, folk and rock and roll.
