Discussing Howard Zinn

Discussing Howard Zinn

Presented by Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library at Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library

Join us as we discuss Howard Zinn’s seminal and often banned book, A People’s History of the United States with authors Dan Wakefieldand James Alexander Thom.

Zinn, the controversial and prolific historian, has been the subject of book banning as recently as March of this year in Arkansas and as close to home as Indiana in 2010 when then Governor Mitch Daniels asked for the book to be removed from state curriculum.

To discuss Zinn’s important contributions, we’ve invited authors Dan Wakefield and James Alexander Thom to lead the conversation!

This event is free and open to the public!
