“We Gonna Have A Funky Good Christmas!” fuses the talent of the Prep4Life, Academy and ACT4Adult programs as we celebrate the psychedelic sounds of Funk masters like James Brown, Sly Stone, Funkadelic, Prince and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. This showcase is complimented with the backing of a 5-piece band led by Musical Director Mark Duerson. The Martin University Choir will also lend their extraordinary collection of voices with a special guest performance.

“We Gonna Have A Funky Good Christmas!” boast a veteran creative team rounded out by ACT Alums Makeda Lands, LeToriya Gowdy, Austin Day and Josh Short as the Prep4life facilitators who direct the youngest members of the group. .
