Celebrations of Creativity and Craftsmanship

Presented by Museum of Miniature Houses and Other Collections at Museum of Miniature Houses and Other Collections

MaryAnne Mathews will present songs from different areas of Ireland and invite you to sing along with some old standards and perhaps some that are not so familiar. Appropriate for all ages.

MaryAnne Mathews is a historic interpreter at Conner Prairie and portrays Mary Todd Lincoln in a variety of settings including parades, fairs, teas, and in a one-woman show. She played in the Evansville-based Irish bands Rowan Tree and Rhiannon before moving to Carmel. MaryAnne and Kate Duffy Sim wrote the trilogy “Mother Ireland” and have performed Irish music together. MaryAnne plays hammered dulcimer and guitar and sings with the choir at All Saints Unitarian Universalist Church in Indianapolis. She has performed in a number of community theater productions, including those of Main Street Players, Carmel Theatre Company, Carmel Community Players, and at IndyFringe.
