The Virginia Avenue Folk Festival was created in 2015 by Mike Angel and Patrick Burtch to bring local musicians, artists, businesses, and the local community together. Each year the Virginia Avenue Folk Fest benefits a different hyper-local non-profit directly involved with the Fountain Square and Fletcher Place neighborhoods in Indianapolis, Indiana.
