Indianapolis Opera’s Resident Artists bring age-specific performances to schools, followed by a question and answer session for the students to interact with the artists and discover more about the operatic and classical music field.
Indianapolis Opera\’s Resident Artists bring opera performances to schools as part of their education outreach initiative. Performances are tailored for different ages, offering a children\’s opera for younger students and a Concert Q&A program for older students. The children’s opera features themes and issues that children experience, such as bullying and prejudice, and how to positively address such dilemmas. The Concert programs are tailored for stage or choral environments and demonstrate aspects of healthy singing and performing in a collaborative setting. Following the performance, an optional question and answer session will provide an opportunity for students to gain insight in to the world of classical voice from professional singers.
Flexible pricing available.
