This book is a historical account of glimpses of the Hodge family from 1915 to 2015.
It presents a rich and robust musical heritage along and near Indiana Avenue. African American women are celebrated for their courage and love for family and community.

Meet Aleta Hodge and through her reading of “Indiana Avenue” get a glimpse into a musical heritage of thousands of musicians including Noble Sissle, Hoagy Carmichael, Wes Montgomery, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, and many many more local and national legends.
