“Mr. Blair” is working to give a voice to youth and adults throughout Indianapolis using poetry, prose, spoken word, comedy, rap, and instrumentals. Mr. Blair has been featured on numerous media outlets for his work, especially with youth. He empowers people to share their stories and experiences in open-stage events, which he hosts in various locations throughout the city.

Artists as young as age five are invited to share their poetry and prose with the public attending these events, which are the largest all-city events focused on youth expression through the spoken word. Adult performers are encouraged to participate as time allows. The events are open to poetry, prose, spoken word, comedy, rap, and acoustic music.
