Next Indiana Campfires: Sherwood Forest

Presented by Indiana Humanities at Sherwood Forest

Join us for a wildflower-filled walk through this wooded private nature preserve along Cicero Creek in Tipton County. It’s the perfect springtime spot to consider how farms and forests impact life in the White River watershed, part of our year-long series of treks focused on this important Indiana river.

Each trek is co-led by a humanities scholar and a naturalist. Along the way, we stop to read short writings by Indiana nature writers. Each trek concludes with a shared meal and discussion around a campfire.

Your ticket price includes a campfire meal and snacks from Bloomington’s Everyday Adventure Treats, in addition to any entrance or rental fees associated with the trek.
