Going Back to Indiana

Presented by Indianapolis' District Theatre and Upland Brewery at The District Theatre

Indianapolis’ District Theatre (formerly Theatre on the Square) and Upland Brewery present an evening with Indiana University Alum and Nashville Recording Artist Elizabeth Eckert and award-winning singer-songwriter Cheley Tackett.

Indie-pop singer, songwriter, pianist … a true artist, Nashville’s Elizabeth Eckert was discovered by five-time Grammy Award-winning producer Paul Worley (Lady Antebellum, Martina McBride), who upon hearing her for the first time declared “she bends music to her will, note by note.” Residing in Nashville and signed to Right Recordings in London, Elizabeth tours in the USA and UK where she performs regularly on BBC radio. For more information, see www.EEckertMusic.com and @EEckertMusic on all social media platforms.

Native of Ohio, Cheley Tackett has been part of the Nashville music scene for more than 20 years. Her debut CD “When We Knew It All” earned the Just Plain Folks Award for Country Song of the Year while her sophomore EP “Here” garnered Song of the Years as well as Country Album of the Year. In 2015 she was voted Nashville’s favorite LGBT musician by readers of Out & About. More information can be found at www.CheleyTackett.com.
