The Kurt Vonnegut Museum and Library invite everyone to “Come Together” for Global Beatles Day on Monday, June 25! Visitors will receive free museum admission and enjoy some Beatles jams during tours!
Beatles fans can purchase artwork from our online store, which will go live on this much anticipated day.
1:00 p.m- Tune in for a Facebook live Q&A with curator Chris Lafave discussing The Beatles and how their mental health challenges influenced their music.
5:30 p.m- Test your Beatles knowledge by joining us for trivia at KVML’s Frank and Katrina Basile Community Room. Guests can win prizes and show off their love for one of the most influential bands in rock and roll.
The Beatles not only influenced other musicians and fans, but impacted Kurt Vonnegut who said, “I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, ‘The Beatles did.”’
Beatles outfits encouraged!
Free Admission and open to all.
