About Kalachnik

“Photography is my career, my art form, and my lifestyle. I am currently based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Within my series work, I am inspired by the idea of self-expression, feminine solidarity, the metamorphic nature of self, and my own relationship to womanhood. I take great influence from fashion publications such as Vogue, Dazed and Nylon and brands like Stella McCartney, Marc Jacobs, and Calvin Klein. I currently find myself partnered with local artists and brands in Indianapolis, where I work to create an aesthetic for their products through my imagery.”
