Noblestories "High School Memories" at Logan Street Sanctuary

Presented by Logan Street Sanctuary, Inc. at Logan Street Sanctuary

High school memories from the 1950s and 60s will be the topic when Dottie Young and Sandy Stewart (both NHS class of 1964) take the stage for the inaugural Noblestories storyteller series on Sunday, July 15 at 4PM at Logan Street Sanctuary.

Young was a small town girl from Clarksville who found herself in a much larger milieu when she arrived at Noblesville High School in 1960. Stewart grew up in town so already had established relationships.
Each brings a unique perspective to the Noblestories stage. Social ties, friendships, teenage hang ups are all fair game as these two lively septuagenarians play off each other in this first of our ongoing series.

Noblestories is a program of the Noblesville Preservation Alliance that gives today’s residents a glimpse into Noblesville’s past through the eyes of people who have lived here the longest: our senior citizens. NPA is partnering with Hamilton County Television and Logan Street Sanctuary to present and preserve these memories from Noblesville’s past to help inform and enrich the lives of current and future residents.

The second in the series is currently scheduled for October 14 and will feature Bob Arbuckle, of Arbuckle’s Railroad place, as he celebrates his 96th birthday.
Noblestories is free and open to the public, which is encouraged to participate with questions and commentary. Logan Street Sanctuary is located at 1274 Logan Street in Noblesville. Logan Street Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 all-volunteer nonprofit cultural arts organization. Donations welcome
