Adults and teens ages 17 and up are invited to view and discuss LGBTQ-themed movies. The movies to be shown in the Riley Room are (August 6) “To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar” (PG-13) and (August 20) the documentary, “Do I Sound Gay?” which explores the existence and accuracy of stereotypes about the speech patterns of gay men and how one’s degree of conformity to the stereotype can contribute to internalized homophobia.
