Books, Booze & Brains: “The End of Plenty”

Presented by Indiana State Museum at Centerpoint Brewing Company

Join facilitator Cari Lewis Tsinovoi and an expert scientist at this monthly book club to talk about a popular science-themed book and sip a signature cocktail mixed by Centerpoint Brewing. Books, Booze & Brains is a program of the Indiana State Museum, Indiana Humanities and the organizers of March for Science Indianapolis. This month’s book is “The End of Plenty: The Race to Feed a Crowded World” by Joel K. Bourne, and the event will feature guest Steve Hallet, professor of horticulture and landscape architecture at Purdue University. The discussion is made possible through a special collaboration with the Union of Concerned Scientists and Feeding Indiana’s Hungry. The event is free and for ages 21+.
