THE TRUTH* is a skillfully eccentric physical comedy play that explores the absurdities of war and political power. In this original, devised piece, A Muse Zoo uses neo-classic clowning, modern mime, and vaudevillian humor to bring to life the story of four dictators in the midst of war. Laughter, tears and insanity ensue as we learn that the truth is not always relevant, but the experiences of the people always are. As George Orwell famously said, “History is written by the winners.”

A Muse Zoo brings their critically acclaimed production to the Indy Fringe as the final stop on their three month, cross country and international tour with stops including the Capital Fringe Festival, Toronto Fringe Festival and including venues in Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Los Angeles and Portland.
